FOR SALE 2002 VW Eurovan Weekender, 194000 miles on engine, runs great. needs new transmission and drivers side front wheel bearings, has other minor quirks that could use repaired as well, but nothing major. We bought this van in March of 2007 with 47000 miles on it and are the second owners. This van has been outstanding, we have taken it on many family road trips and campouts. It has been to and from Indiana to southern Florida numerous times and has been an absolute road warrior. It has only been worked on by Jeff Fletchers VW repair in Mooresville Indiana and I have all service records, oil changed regularly. Vehicle has been kept in a garage since we have owned it. I have also included photos of the imperfections, a crack in the topper as well as pealing clear coat (other than that no issues, no leaks, works as it should), the only rust i am aware of (under drivers side door) and a dent on the drivers side from a mirror sideswipe. Up for auction is my 2002 VW Eurovan MRV. The top pops up and there is a bed above and back seat folds down into roughly a queen size. Great vehicle and very fun to take camping in any weather conditions. I have owned the van for a couple years and only put about 4,000 miles on it. I have all records prior to my ownership and some from during my ownership. The check engine light is currently on and the OBD2 port gives a link error message and won't allow the codes to be read or reset. From my research this appears to be a somewhat common issue in an older vehicle like this. I do not have the money to have this fixed. I drove the van out to the only local shop that works on vehicles like this and they were unable to read the code as well. Van was driving great when I did this with no noticeable issues. Due to the check engine light, I am starting the bidding far below what I think the vehicle is worth with no reserve. The van has typical wear for a vehicle of this age and mileage and I have a variety of extra parts and pieces that will be included for the winner. Engine and transmission work great. New brakes. There is rusting on body as pictured and the visors are different colors.

2001 Volkswagen Eurovan Camper Van This van has 20K miles on it since a major overhaul. The van now has 168K miles on it. This Eurovan started life as a regular van. The Winnebago camper part was added at Automotive International Corp. in Dallas, TX (they have done stretch limo's). The complete interior was removed at this time and the walls were insulated. A beautiful hardwood floor was added, stained in a teak and holly style. The floor has mounting points for a third row seat. Feel free to ask questions. Van is available for viewing in Dallas, TX. During the rebuild the following items were done. -Brand new factory VW engine installed, 201HP 24 valve. -Rebuilt transmission with lifetime warranty on valve body. -External transmission cooler added. -New CV axles -rebuilt calipers -new wheel bearings -new upper and lower ball joints. -new tie rods -skylight resealed. -16" Aluminum wheels with the larger brakes. -Drivers seat has been converted to an electric seat. -Hardwood floor stained in a teak and holly style -New igniter for gas fridge. -Fiamma F45 plus awning. -Fire extinguisher. -The factory curtains, one dinning table, fridge, stove, sink, swiveling passenger seat, cabinets, and camper items are there and work. This is the Weekender version of the Volkswagen Eurovan MV. It was made by Westfalia (if you know what Westfalia is, you know it's the real deal).DMV considers it a "passenger vehicle" and therefore it is allowed to park in the street, no need for 72 hours permit is SD unlike RV's and trailers! It has a pop-top (sleeps two), convertible rear bench (sleeps two/queen size), an electric cooler under the seat, huge trunk storage, extra accessories battery under driver's seat, a folding table, a separate heater blower for the rear, cold AC, cruise control and a few other goodies all around.It is in good shape and served us well for near by camping or longer road trips. Extensive maintenance was done:- Complete exhaust system including new catalytic and sensor / last smog was perfect!- Complete brake overhaul including flexible hoses and rear cylinders- Radiator, water pump, thermostat and expansion tank- Spark Plugs- Timing belt and tensioner- Various oil change including transmission- Etc.Needs attention / Priced accordingly:- Pop-top canvas has been repaired (tears / cosmetic only)- Broken radio antenna- One rear facing seat is missing its seat belt- Few dings here and there- Missing some curtain clips- Rear facing seat trim is missing its clips- Some gear shifts are sometimes harsh at low speed. Never bothered us that much.Let's be honest: it's the perfect vehicle for someone who knows how to use a screwdriver. It is a 25 year old vehicle, don't expect it to be brand new. It is reliable and tough but requires regular maintenance/adjustments.
